Wee Nudge

This article is 14 years old, so some links or images may no longer work.

Yesterday Paddy Donnelly and I launched Wee Nudge. The response was nothing short of astounding, considering this was something that we threw together during a couple of late night skype/photoshop/coding sessions. In a little over two days we've seen the site register just over 14,000 pageviews, we've been featured on the homepage of delicious and we've seen industry respected designer/developers/teachers tweet in favour of it.

So, what exactly is Wee Nudge? Well, in short it is a resource where designers and developers alike are able to point their clients to if they are proving to be quite troublesome over some of our industries grey areas. At present Wee Nudge covers topics such as whitespace, the fold, wireframes and content delivery.

When you arrive on the website, you are met with a series of content blocks, displaying a list of popular blog posts relating to their section. If you click on the title or view topic link you will then be taken to an inner page where we give a quick overview on these topics, with a few useful aids, and resupply the links that you have already seen on the frontpage.

You might be asking yourself what is the point in having an aggregator site for something you've probably bookmarked yourself. However once you've saved these links into your delicious feed the chances of you going back to them or even finding them, depending upon how big your library is, are pretty slim. Which is why we decided to collate everything into one small site.

There's also a contact form which allows you to get in touch with us and so far we have been inundated with suggestions for future topics, so we'll need to get our thinking caps on as to how we go about tackling the list.

If you want to stay up to date with the latest goings on from the site then please feel free to follow Wee Nudge on twitter or get in touch with us through our contact form.
